Lead Front-End Developer (Contract)
Built Waggle, an educational application for grades 2–8, and served as primary DevOps contact for an offshore team.
Context
Waggle is a learning product for children in grades 2 through 8, which puts an unusual weight on motion, feedback, and visual clarity — built by a distributed team on a fixed contract timeline.
What I owned
- Built the Waggle educational application for grades 2–8 using React 16, Material-UI, and GraphQL
- Led an offshore development team and served as primary DevOps contact, managing Jenkins, Docker, and Jest pipelines
- Focused on visual design and browser animation with Three.js and D3.js
Outcome
A learning experience built for children, shipped by a distributed team with the pipeline discipline to keep it releasable.
